Who Should Attend
FOR WHOM
Construction site supervisor, Clerk-of-work, Foreman, Site enginer, WSH Coordinator, WSH Supervisor or individuals who undertake the role of a supervisor in the construction industry.
^ENTRY REQUIREMENTS / *ASSUMED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
ü ^At least 18 years of age
ü ^Singaporeans, Permanent Residents or Holders of valid employment pass / work permit
ü *Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 and above, or equivalent
ü *Be physically and mentally fit for the training, without any handicaps
Note :
· Proof of highest education certificate is recommended
· Those 70 years and above must produce a medical certificate of physical fitness

Course Objectives
OBJECTIVE
By the end of the course, learners should be competently trained with the knowledge and application skills to supervise construction work for workplace and safety and health to meet WSH legislative requirements.
THEORY & PRACTICAL
This Competency Unit (CU) covers the Competency Elements (CE) as listed below:
· PS1 Explain and interpret salient WSH legislations and other requirements relevant to construction industry
· PS2 Describe the WSH duties and responsibilities of a supervisor in construction industry
· PS3 Assist in safety and health planning and organisation at worksite
· PS4 Identify WSH hazards, evaluate and control risks in construction industry in accordance with risk management process
· PS5 Carry out WSH inspections in accordance with organisational inspection procedures
· PS6 Conduct incident investigation and prepare report in accordance with legal requirements and other organisational requirements
